Our government is always looking out for us.. When I was in the military back in the 60s , I paid $1.00 a carton for cigarettes , that's 10 cents a pack folks.. Surely the government wouldn't claim they were looking out for our health just to screw us out of billions of dollars in extra taxes... I quit them when they were $5.00 a carton back in the 70s , look at all the money I'm saving because now they range from $53.00 a carton to over $100.00 , depending on the state you live in.. I often think of the Boston Tea Party & wonder why we let them get away with this scam..
