Prov. 6:16 “These six things the Lord hates, yes, seven are an abomination to Him: A proud look, A lying tongue, Hands that shed innocent blood.” God hates sinful actions. There is pride that goes before the fall. When you think you are something, you’re really nothing. You are setting yourself up for your own downfall. There is a lying tongue. God is the God of truth. Satan exchanges the truth of God for a lie. Hypocrisy and those who lie against the truth were condemned the most by Jesus. God hates hands that shed innocent. A special judgment awaits the child abuser, the mass murderer that would prey upon the innocent. These have no feeling in disposing of those who are helpless and can be disposed of, how they will be judged by God and hated by Him in their action. If we repent of what God hates, we can come to Him through Christ and be His friend. By repenting of sin, you get out of the line of fire of God’s hatred, for it is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God: Heb. 10:31. Began to love what God loves and hate what He hates to be His friend instead of being His enemy --- Dan Nelson
