We all know the story of the lame beggar man healed by Peter in Acts 3 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. But there’s more to this story...This guy was cripple for over 40 years, yet he never met Jesus even though they were in the same city together. He was destined to be healed by Peter/ John.Think for a minute about the guys who carried him there. What love and compassion they had for this lame man.1.They meaning multiple people. ( probably 4)2.They did this daily in all kinds of weather.3.Twice a day ( once there and once back)these guys had to stop what they were doing , get together and carry him back and forth.4.The cripple was over 40 years old ( Acts 4:22)..How long did these 4 carry him?I just wanted to give those guys who served God quietly and in humbleness without any fanfare credit for doing this for an untold number of years...The healed cripple man didn’t just go his way enjoying his new physical freedom, he went to jail with Peter/ John and appeared the next morning in front of the scribes, rulers and elders as an essential witness to Gods power through the name of Jesus...Acts 4:3/7/10/14I want to meet humble warriors like those 4 and the cripple man who didn’t run away.
