California – Small Victory in Amending HPV Mandate for Grade 8 - 12 Students A small victory with a big loss. Although we beat pharma away from our kids the bill has been amended to mandate kids in college. This is still a bad bill and we need to continue to work to stop @Merck (https://www.instagram.com/Merck/) capturing of our young adults. Please continue to call and email the health committee to include language that there should be opt out language mandated in the letters sent to parents and an opt out for college enrollment.
