Enis Jevric, 41, was charged with murder in March, 2023. Headlines lead readers to believe Glimore was sleeping in his car when he was shot. In reality, Gilmore responded to police and, therefore, was almost certainly not asleep. The vehicle moved and, when ordered not to move, it abruptly stopped. He was armed, reports say. A firearm was clearly seen in his waist ban. Gilmore may have fallen asleep at a traffic light. No reports were found indicating that alcohol or narcotics were found in his system. Jevric — a surname that suggests Bosnian ancestry — has pleaded no guilty.
