Sure the USA government helped shape Ukraine's government, but don't think they created the Nazi element of their government. It goes wat back. Meet Yaroslav Stetsko (1912-1986) a Nazi collabarator during Operation Barbarossa (1941-1942) the Nazi German invasion of the Soviet Union he self-proclaimed himself as the leader of an Independent "Ukrainian State" in 1941 in Lviv in the west of the country. (Even then there was the west/nationalist vs east/Soviet/Russian divide in the country) Yaroslav served as the head of the OUN (Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists) . Aftee the Nazi invasion of the Soviet Union, the OUN saw in an ally in Nazi Germany. Thry began a series of pogroms against Jews. murdering and raping men, women and children.
