Wimkin tip: it's easier to find real people to friend by looking at who likes and comments on posts that you like. This is a good way to find people who are active and who are likely to enjoy some of the same things you do! Hopefully that helps you build your friends list!

It also helps when people don't follow the scammer/spammer script when they send DMs. I always ask why they sent me a message--if I don't get a reasonable answer then I go ahead and hit the block button.

Always look at a person's page when they send a friend request. It can be very informational!
