Don't make the mistake of only living for your time here on earth.There is another time after your life here on earth and that TIME is the most important time.It will either be spent with God in Eternity or your time will be spent in Hell which was not made for you but for the devil and his angels.God desires you to be right and to be right with him you must possess his righteousness which is not something you can generate through yourself or personal beliefs.Here's what God thinks of your 'own righteousness' - Romans 10:3 | For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.God calls a person 'ignorant' if he believes his own righteousness is equal to God's righteousness.TRUE RIGHTEOUSNESS: Romans 5:17 | For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)True righteousness, that allows you into heaven is by 'one' - Jesus Christ.Either you have your 'own' righteousness or righteousness of Jesus Christ. If you are 'right' with God you have his 'gift' of righteousness which was given at the cross where he shed his blood for all.Now, how to receive the GIFT: Romans 10:10 - For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.You must STOP believing in yourself or stop believing in religious activities such as church, baptism, works, etc. Church is important for the Christian but not to become a Christian. Baptism is important but not to become a Christian but to identify as a Christian. Works for God are important but they only show others why you are a Christian. These three do not make or help you to become a Christian.Now, do you have HIS righteousness or only your righteousness?If you only have your righteousness, then I will not see you in heaven since your righteousness can never measure up to God's righteousness.
