The Nazi paramilitary , Sturmabteilung or SA (‘assault division’) were recruited from various rough elements of society by Adolf Hitler in 1921. Fitted out in brown uniforms , they figured prominently in organized marches and rallies. Their violent intimidation of political opponents and of Jews played a key role in Hitler's rise to power. The Brownshirts intimidated opponents of Hitler's policies , beat & murdered anyone who defied them.. Now you know why schools don't teach history.. Substitute the name Biden for Hitler & you will understand..
