Romans 12:2 - And be not CONFORMED to this world: but be ye transformed by the RENEWING of your mind, that ye may PROVE what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.TRUTH: Everyone seems to 'think' they are Christian if they have their name on a church roll or own a Bible or know the name "Jesus Christ". These are not qualifiers for being a Christian. Now, if you are conformed to this world, then you will have thoughts like this without realizing you are thinking just like this world. However, if you are 'transformed' then your mind has been 'renewed' and you will want to PROVE that my relationship with God is more than just a Sunday Morning Visit. So, a renewed mind thinks different than that of a mind that is conformed to this world. A RENEWED mind proves what is Good, and Acceptable by:(1) Church attendance on Sunday Morning and P.M. and Mid-week.(2) Tithing and not just putting a few dollars in the offering plate to give an appearance of giving.(3) Supporting Missions and not just reading the mission letters that are posted on the wall.(4) Making melody in their hearts by singing hymns and spiritual songs throughout the week and not just on Sundays. (5) Bible reading that is not just on Sundays. I will read my Bible seven days a week.(6) Praying and not being ashamed to pray outside of Church or being called to pray inside of Church.(7) Witnessing by giving out gospel tracts and inviting the lost to your church.(8) A renewed mind does not complain seven days a week but finds a way to praise God seven days a week. (9) A renewed mind is Christ-like and suffers the hardships of being a Christian while the 'conformed' mind will side with this world against God's anointed.(10) A renewed mind can only be possessed by that person who is BORN-AGAIN and the conformed mind is usually a religious person who knows just enough Bible to appear authentic when actually they've never been renewed.When you are 'renewed', your life changes and you can't wait to be around God's church, other Christians and you can't wait to get AWAY from the ways of this world.Now, are you RENEWED or still just CONFORMED to this world?
