It's important that we recognize that other people are more like us than not. They're just doing their best with the information and experiences they have had, just like we're doing our best with the information and experiences we've had. I will do my best to condemn the behavior and seek to understand the person. From a standpoint of understanding and respect, we can have a dialog and attempt to persuade with new information and reason. It doest always work... sometimes you gotta walk away. But sometimes, the best times, we win them over to our side.After all, when someone approaches us by saying we are wrong and insulting us, we are immediately disinclined to listen to what they have to say.
