The highly toxin dioxins released from the deliberate ignition of the Ohio train wreck will persist for a century or more, contaminating soils, water and the food supply from an entire region... The most toxic dioxin, TCDD which is also called agent orange which was used as a Biological weapon in Vietnam War (1955-1975)... Dioxins did not exist prior to Industrialization except in very small amounts due to natural combustion and geological processes...
Why are these chemicals reason for concern?
The dioxins take 500 - 1,000 years to disappear from the soils. They contaminate rivers and crops, and they are extremely dangerous at ridiculously small doses... (Less than a drop.)
These dioxins, which include 2,3,7,8 TCDD, are so toxic that your lifetime maximum exposure is measured in less than trillionths of a gram. Cancer rates are going to skyrocket and persist for at least two generations, maybe three...
Effects of dioxins on human health, Short-term exposure of humans to high levels of dioxins may result in skin lesions, such as chloracne and patchy darkening of the skin, and altered liver function. Long-term exposure is linked to impairment of the immune system, the developing nervous system, the endocrine system and reproductive functions...
Thanks to the Ohio train derailment ignition that unleashed a massive toxic plume of dioxins across the Northeast...
Chronic exposure of animals to dioxins has resulted in several types of cancer. U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has classified dioxins as a probable human carcinogen (cancer causing chemical)
