The LTV (A-7) "Corsair" II ๐บ๐ฒ, was an attack aircraft created for aircraft carriers, designed by Ling-Temco-Vought and was introduced to replace the Douglas A-4 Skyhawk in the US naval service. It's based on the successful F-8 Crusader naval fighter produced by Chance Vought, under a concept by David Harold Byrd.
