Eph. 6:16 “Above all, taking the shield of faith with which, you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one” The shield of faith is greater than all the negative things that happen to us, challenges & ornery people. The literal shield was filled with a pitch on the outside that could quickly extinguish a fiery arrow lodged in it. Need faith, or greater faith? Read God’s Word & live out of it Rom. 10:17. Faith is the gas you put in the car of your life. It is pumped from God’s Word. The problem is many are running on empty and don’t try to fill up. Stop living off the dregs or second-hand faith. Be filled to the brim living in God’s Word & letting it live through you. Be triumphant over every eventuality through this essential piece of the armor of God.--- Dan Nelson
