We elect people to make our laws , those laws are written down in books & we citizens are supposed to know these thousands upon thousands of laws and strictly adhere to them.. Remember , " ignorance of the law is no excuse "... Yet , liberal prosecutors , unlike citizens , get to pick & choose which laws they will enforce or not for any reason.. Then you have judges , they are elected or appointed to apply these laws written in statutes.. But , they claim to have a thing , unlike us peons , called " judicial discretion " which allows them to change the laws to suit them. I knew a guy who was arrested for having stolen property , he didn't know it was stolen but " ignorance of the law is no excuse ".. His lawyer told him that for $8000 he could get it thrown out , $5000 for the judge & $3000 for him.. He told the lawyer that the most he could come up with was $2000 , his lawyer told him that for $2000 he could get him 2 years and 1 year probation.. That folks is how justice works in America...
