Indiana State Capital - January 30, 2023 – Rally There is a rally next Monday from 12 to 2pm for bills SB12 authored by Rep Tomes and HB1130 authored by Rep Cash. Both bills remove legal protections from schools and some public libraries for disseminating material harmful to minors (porn). This bill is supported by Purple for Parents, American Family Association, and Indiana Family Action. Please contact your senators and representatives and insist that they ask the committee chairs give these bills a hearing. Versions of these bills have passed in the individual houses before. This bill would keep books out of children's sections of libraries and schools like what it took us 2 years to get moved to the adult section at the Noblesville East Public Library.
