Now Barabbas was a robber.TRUTH: God's people can really be foolish at different times in the Bible.They gave up the prophet Samuel for a King - King Saul.The nation divided after King Solomon, to Ten tribes and Two Tribes.They went into captivity for forgetting GOD and when they were offered a choice between Jesus and Barabbas the crowd cheers for Barabbas?Why do God's people follow crowds or the multitudes instead of being faithful to the scriptures? The answer is easy and profound - Matthew 22:29 Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.When you do not KNOW the scriptures, man will continue to make the same mistakes AGAIN and AGAIN, while thinking and believing he is doing something great.Without God, any decisions you make are made with only your eyes and not the eyes of God who foresees into the future.Therefore, I want to see as GOD sees and not through any filters that alters God's truth.
