STANDING FIRM“Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.” II Timothy 2:3 If one is SAVED, one can expect spiritual challenges. Being SAVED does not mean life will be easier. For many, it may be more difficult. There is a war raging. It is a war against evil, and it is not an easy battle. When born-again, one is not only a member of the family of God but is enlisted into that conflict. “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Ephesians 6:12 When you face spiritual conflicts, do not surrender. Do not waiver. Remain steadfast and endure.“Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.” I Corinthians 15:58 All that stands between good and evil are individual Christians. Your spiritual battle may be the only defiance to wickedness this world will see. Who will be the example of righteousness if you give in to sin and worldliness? Stand firm, the cause of Christ is depending on you.
