Jesus ended John 10:10 with these words, " I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly."I believe that all of us would agree that our Lord came into this world to save sinners (1 Timothy 1:15). As God's children, He wants us to enjoy those things that are His. We are heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ. Therefore, all that He has is ours in Christ. Why then don't we live and act like it? Why do so many just mosey along in this life like a bunch of folks on welfare looking for their monthly government check in the mailbox instead of wealthy heirs of the Creator of all things Who owns the cattle on a thousand hills and the hills too? Now, I'm not talking about that ole Rev. Ike feller and his "pie in the sky" materialistic religion as well as all those other big smiling, pleading for donations, while offering to send you a bottle of holy water who are on TV these days who blindly follow in his steps. I'm talking about the abundant life that rightly possesses its possessions! You're saved and a child of God, right? But have you gone further in your relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ and enjoyed all those spiritual much mores that God has promised you? Friends, let us give thanks to Almighty God Who has an abundant supply of spiritual riches for you and me. Now, take a good look at John 10:10 again, "I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." Did you notice the "comma" right there in the middle of that verse? Now let me ask you, what side of that comma are you living on? Are you living the abundant life that Jesus promised you?
