ROCKOLLECTIONS: CHRISTMAS PARTY 2022 PT.2 We begin this 2nd half with a song that is not a Christmas song at all. But so Joyous it seemed right to play. Then a quick switch, with a song by Tracy Newman and the Reinforcements that made Dolly Parton cry! After that, an annual tradition, the Beatles Christmas Message to their Fan Club Members. I never knew about these until Scott Muni played them on WNEW-FM in his first years at the station. The Beatles made them from 1963 to 1969, and since this year doesn't fall within that range I'll play an Outtake from 1964! I guess they weren't happy with this take, it's understandably daunting when a microphone is plucked in front of you and you're told to be natural but funny regarding the past year and Christmas As always, one thing I can promise you is that you will NOT hear the same old, same old Christmas Music.
