ARE YOU PREPARED FOR WHAT’S COMING?Mat. 24: 30 " And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, they shall see the Son of man come in the clouds of heaven with great power & glory." (We are living in fear of terrorism that seemingly has evolved into a threat that could reach epic proportions. Life as we know it will be tempered with the possibility of these terrorist threats expanding to affect us by putting us in constant danger.Yet, people ignore a greater threat beyond this eternal life. They may be apathetic toward Him, but being ready for His coming will be the only thing that matters when Jesus returns. Will they be unprepared to meet Him because they don't know Him as their personal Lord and Saviour? People at that time won't be ready to stand before the Lord and will be judged for their sin instead of having Christ as their Saviour.The reaction will be as described in this verse. They will mourn because life will end as they know it, and now it will be time to answer to God. But why is Christ's return called the Blessed Hope of the church as described in Titus 2:13? We will live with Him in His completed kingdom of righteousness. Your biggest fear ought to be meeting God in judgment. That beats terrorism to pieces, and it's about time you face your fear in Christ, who gave His life for your salvation. You need Him now more than ever if you have not put your faith and trust in Him.)
