Ice-cream and potatoes are fine. Potato is the main ingredient in grain free dog food. Ice-cream will give a dog brain freeze, just as it does in people, but its no more harmful to them than it is to you.

My dogs eat all this except grapes and coffee.
Grapes can kill and they’re already up too late without coffee.
