MY THANKSGIVING LIST Before preparing a Christmas list, perhaps we would all do well to prepare a Thanksgiving list. Here's mine . . . I'm thankful for God granting me life and reasonably good health. Millions have been far less fortunate. I'm thankful for God sending His Son Jesus Christ to save me. I'm thankful for God providing me with an upbringing that taught me the fundamental rights and wrongs of life. I'm thankful for God allowing me to be born into the greatest part of the greatest country in the history of humanity. By His good grace, I'm well within the super-blessed 1%. Make that .001%. In all of human history, not one person in a thousand has enjoyed the freedoms, blessings and opportunities that God bestowed on me. I'm thankful for God blessing me with a wonderful family. I'm thankful for God answering my prayer to learn the Book. I'm still blown away with how that one played out. I'm thankful for God granting me the honor, privilege and joy to be able to reach others with the treasured truths of His word. I'm thankful for God always supplying my needs, even in some very bazaar ways at times. Keeps life exciting. I'm thankful for God providing us with opportunities to serve in the months and years ahead. Challenging times are coming, but so are extra provisions of God's grace as we press onward as soldiers under His command. One day at a time.
