This is Scruffy. I first saw Scruffy early one morning as I was getting ready for work. She walked cautiously down our driveway and disappeared into the darkness. That evening we saw her again and put some food out for her. For 3 days we repeated this process except we talked to her from the deck while she ate. On night 3 she allowed us to pet her and she came in the house with us.
