Hi all. Last night I disclosed an offer that was made to purchase our platform and to merge where the purchaser would bring their users to Wimkin. It is my fiduciary responsibility to disclose these offers now that we have shareholders and I was abundantly clear that I was not even considering said offer but wanted the feedback of the platform and to schedule a virtual shareholders meeting in November and once per month thereafter. Many seem confused by this and are worried. Please allow me to make myself crystal clear here and now:
I am NOT selling Wimkin. This is offer number 5 in terms of buyout offers in our 26 months of existence, even after the world and big tech collectively tried to shut us down (and very much still do). If I was in this for $, I'd have been gone long ago after the enormous weight and toll it takes to manage this. Quite frankly, I don't understand how anyone could misconstrue my post simply disclosing the offer and my clear intentions regarding such. Wimkin is my baby and it's not only special to me, but it's special to millions of people that use it daily. Nobody can do what Wimkin can other than Facebook and it took them 15 years to do what we've done alone, in two. I do understand Conservatives are, and always will be leary of free speech platforms. You do not need to be leary here of anything. I simply disclosed an offer, and I'd have disclosed this even if we did not now have shareholders and I was obligated to do so.
In addition to being fully transparent, I disclosed the offer as one, in our share offering, we greatly undervalued the platform to ensure the safety of our shareholders' investments. Two, the tender offer would bring those that just invested in the past 60-90 days, a 25% profit ALREADY. This is wonderful and shareholders as well as all users deserve to know these facts. All I asked for was feedback. Once again, the platform will not change hands, nor will we be offering any further ownership opportunities outside of what are left at https://wimkin.com/memberships/.
We now have over 500 shareholders which is amazing, and those owners should be doing absolutely everything they can to promote Wimkin and growing their investments. It's obviously working well and the future is amazingly bright.
We are one. We are together in this fight. That, nor my stance on freedom of speech will ever change nor will I allow my creation (nor YOU) to ever be put at risk.
Thank you very much for allowing me to clear up any confusion. There are still around 500 shares left of the 5,000 offered. To get involved, please visit https://wimkin.com/memberships/ - Thank you all again for your continued support and belief in Wimkin, myself and staff. ❤️
