"But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." (1 Corinthians 15:57)
Fellas, Jesus Christ met His foes and won the victory for all who trust Him. Yet, death remains for us, but its sting of fear, and what some call finality, was pulled and its power to hold us was conquered three days after Calvary when our Saviour walked out of that tomb and showed Himself alive forevermore!
We need not fear what men call death; for the grave of Christian's around the world is God's Garden where the bodies of His own children have simply been sown (1 Corinthians15:42-44), waiting for the sound of that Trumpet signaling the resurrection of our old corruptible bodies to our new incorruptible bodies which shall clothe our eternal souls (1 Corinthians 15:51-54).
That very moment when God saved me, He took hold of me with a Godly Grasp and has promised that He will never let me go!
Bible Believers have a place reserved for them (1 Peter 1:3-5). That place, from the very lips of Jesus, was going to be prepared for them by Him (John 14:2).
And lest we forget, the lost soul also has a place when death snatches them with one final blow that wasn't even prepared for them. For it's a place prepared for the devil and his angels (Matthew 25:41). It's a dark and dastardly place. It's a place of torment and terror. A place of lasting lust for sin and a place of ferocious fire. It's a place the Word of God calls, "Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched." (Mark 9:44,46,48)
Men, everyone with breath in their lungs will make a choice concerning eternity. You can choose Christ by receiving Him today and have a prepared place in Heaven; or you can choose to reject Christ and have a prepared place in Hell.
But remember this: As you make one of those choices during this life, when death comes calling, then your choice chooses for you forever and ever! And oh, forever in Hell is just as long as forever in Heaven! Choose Christ today and live!
