So I was listening to a podcast about the deep state and Tolkien came up. Any diehard fan knows that Lord of the Rings is a fantasy satire of modern warfare. Comparing Tom Bombadil who is not subject to the power of the One Ring is interesting. He represents Sweden. Amusing. Beware of the Eye indeed.
