In 1940 when I came into this world it was closed to me because of the color of my skin. My family never hobbled me by bemoaning the burdens of this life.At 17 I joined the Army and found myself wash in the racism of the day. By 23 I had become a civil rights worker with Brooklyn Core, registering black shear croppers in Greensboro NC. It was a given that we’d be chased by the Klan. And we were. Now today, October 22nd 2022, I am 82 years old. An Octogenarian who has lived long enough to see my country, our country, this country, make some fantastic change’s in my lifetime. But sadly and much to my dismay I have seen our country’s youth skillfully lied to and manipulated Into becoming a fifth column working to destroy the USA. Think about it. I do every moment of the day. 😢
