Before people start dawning surgical masks, the ebola virus is nasty but NOT AIRBORNE. Like HIV or Monkeypox it's transmitted through infected bodily fluids. Beyond keeping you fingers out of your mouth and nose masks won't help. Ebola Virus are generally approximately 80 nm in diameter, 970 nm long. So, if it were airborne the N95 Mask (filters 95% down to 300 nm) could catch it but cloth and plastic surgical masks would not.
