PICTURE OF JESUS: He stood before the king of this world - Pilate and his soldiers. At any time, Jesus could of called a host of Angels to rescue him, but for us, he did not call his angels, but allowed the soldiers to beat him, mock him, and nail him to a cross.The kingdoms of this world will fight for their kingdom, which is not of God. We are to not to FIGHT for a physical Kingdom, but to preach of the coming Kingdom.The KINGDOM was offered, was at hand, was nigh, but rejected at the crucifixion of Jesus and still waiting to be RESTORED:KINGDOM OFFERED TO ISRAEL: Matthew 10:7 | And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. KINGDOM - Israel to SEEK it: Luke 12:31 | But rather SEEK ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you. KINGDOM WAS NIGH TO ISRAEL: Luke 21:31 | So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is NIGH at hand. KINGDOM - Pray for it to 'come' - Matthew 6:10 | Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. KINGDOM HASN'T APPEAR TO ISRAEL: Luke 19:11 - “And as they heard these things, he added and spake a parable, because he was nigh to Jerusalem, and because they thought that the kingdom of God should immediately appear.” KINGDOM REJECTED BY ISRAEL: John 18:36 | Jesus answered, My kingdom is NOT of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence. AFTER THE RESURRECTION ISRAEL WAS STILL LOOKING FOR THE KINGDOM TO RESTORED: Acts 1:6 When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? Some religion teach we are 'already' in the kingdom? The Kingdom and the church are not interchangeable. The Kingdom will not be RESTORED until CHRIST brings the Kingdom at his 2nd coming.Today, at salvation, you are translated 'into' the Kingdom of his dear son, which is NOT here, but in heaven: Colossians 1:13 -- Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us INTO the kingdom of his dear Son:
