At one point, Marissa cried out for help but the savage mocked her. 'Nobody is coming for you, are they?' he said.Darrel was arrested mere hours before the assault for possessing a weapon, but was immediately released from custody. Activists and politicians fight for people like him to be released into the public as they believe arresting Black criminals are 'racist.'
