What if the message that:* brought your kids under conviction so that they got saved* rescued your marriage* detoured you from a life ruined by sin* gave you specific direction for your future* answered questions you had about the meaning of a passage* motivated you not to give upwas preached on a night where you missed service?Perhaps you feel that you've been to church a thousand times and missing once won't matter. That's the wrong viewpoint. You have a once-in-a-lifetime chance to hear this specific message, to give (or get) a word of encouragement from another believer, to pray for a need that you just learned about in service, or to be that encouragement to your pastor that he desperately needs.
