HMS Dragon (D35/DN)TYPE 45 DESTROYERS 🇬🇧:It emerges from a program for air defense destroyers, to replace the legendary Type 42 family of destroyers, entering service between 2009 and 2013.It has a clear stealth characteristics in its structure, for the propulsion an innovative integrated electrical propulsion system was used which has caused it serious problems, today they are being replaced by a more efficient one.The project was criticized for the increase in costs, over the original estimate and that reached 29%. The construction was also delayed by 3 years.
