2Corinthians_4:6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. TRUTH: Fear is powerful yet the LIGHT that shines in our hearts is more powerful.Darkness can visit -- just ask Joseph when His brothers sold him into Egypt.Darkness can visit -- just ask Esther when she was taken from her home.Darkness can visit -- just ask Daniel when he was thrown in the Lions Den.Darkness can visit -- just ask Peter and Paul who were thrown in Jail. When darkness visits God's promises will still be as bright as the noon day sun. Each of these stayed faithful through the darkness and GOD shined in their lives.Also, there were others whose outcome differed.Darkness visited -- Just ask John The Baptist who lost his head.Darkness visited -- Just ask Stephen who was stoned.Darkness visited -- just ask the 12 Apostles who all died for Christ.Darkness visited -- just ask The Son of God - Jesus who was nailed to the cross. When this darkness visits, God promises are still as bright as the noon day sun. Stephen, as he was being stoned, was able to see Christ standing to welcome him into heaven as he died. As the sword fell upon the neck of John, or the stones rain upon Stephen and then the nails driven into the hands and feet of Jesus, they all died in FAITH in the fullness of God's Glory. There is NO fear when you are found to be in FAITH! No Fear -- No Fear !!
