Stopped by our local salumeria, La Salumina in Hurleyville, the only place near me to get authentic straight off the boat Italian fare, and as usual overspent!! Todays breakfast was yummy cantaloupe drizzled with olive oil infused with white truffles and dusted with freshly cracked black pepper. Slices of Mozzarella da Búfala topped with Prosciuttella, a more savory cut that plain prosciutto and rather difficult to find nowadays, topped with marinaded sun dried tomatoes and drizzled with the same white truffle olive oil, cracked black pepper and maple smoked sea salt. This will last me through dinner time.
