God had us meet up with our 2nd group of men in Washington DC, on Sunday evening. It all started with an inquiry as to how the rental scooters worked. Joshua was nice enough to explain what we needed to do. It wasn't soon after that we found out he and his friend Don were Christians. Don proceeded to tell us about their pastor friend whose mom was murdered not many months ago in Florida and how this Pastor forgave her murderer. His name is Zander and we soon found out what a lively character he was. His friends encouraged him to do something for us so he attempted to do a rap song using our names. It was quite amusing. Then he acted out an oration of "Jesus my King" a video I had posted at Easter last year. It is a powerful exhortation about Christ. Zander performed on the street corner near the Farmer's restaurant we just had dinner at. Several outside diners looked on. As he finished we heard sirens. We started teasing Zander that the police were coming for him. As they came closer he became a little apprehensive. Soon after we realized it was the President's motorcade. Brenda and I went on the street to try and get a better look. The motorcycle cops asked us to move back. About 9 motorcycles zipped by, police vehicles, then the black vehicles. The second one had it's back window open and there he was waving. It had the flags and the presidential seal. They must have told him he had some gawkers ahead. Lol What a treat that was! Then a woman came over to Zander and showed him a photo she took that showed a glow of a cross as he performed. She wound up praying with us. We also met another couple from California who came for the Prayer March, it was a blessing meeting and talking to others who love the Lord.Psalm 37:4'Delight yourself also in the Lord,And He shall give you the desires of your heart.'
