Thank you, Lord, for sending your Son to make peace with us, not by turning a blind eye to our sins but by paying for them on the cross. We know you are just and will be a just judge when you judge the world. We pray for our neighbors and friends and family that they may run to you for mercy and find it while the door of mercy is still open, if they have not already found peace with you.
