🚨 Let’s put to rest the ignorance that continues to circulate in the Body of Christ regarding the “Third Temple” that will be built in Jerusalem in the future. The persistent argument among the replacement theology folks, is that “We are the Temple” therefore, there is not going to be a future temple because “We will be the “Third Temple”. This is grossly misinterpreted. So let’s bring clarification to this here. 👇🏽“Jesus answered and said to them, “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.” Then the Jews said, “It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and will You raise it up in three days?” But He was speaking of the temple of His body.”‭‭John‬ ‭2:19-21‬ ‭“Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them members of a harlot? Certainly not!” - I Corinthians‬ ‭6:15In both of these passages we discover that our bodies are in deed referred to as a “temple” but these are temples of flesh not of brick and stone. However, notice how the Jews had understanding of an actual temple that existed and constructed in Jerusalem. This is what John saw as well in the Book of Revelation. 👇🏽“Then I was given a reed like a measuring rod. And the angel stood, saying, “Rise and measure the temple of God, the altar, and those who worship there. But leave out the court which is outside the temple, and do not measure it, for it has been given to the Gentiles. And they will tread the holy city underfoot for forty-two months.” Revelation‬ ‭11:1-2‬So here is the conclusion of the matter. Our bodies are a temple of flesh but there is a physical brick and mortar temple as well and there will be another temple constructed during the tribulation. - Ricky Scaparo
