We have recently updated our Business Registry to outline the recent changes with regard to the newly enacted gun legislation that went into effect September 1, 2022. One of these changes instituted a default of no concealed carry on private property and businesses unless deemed permissible by property owners. Business owners can request a sign from the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office, which is to be displayed in their window advising a patron; it is permissible to carry a concealed weapon when inside their establishment.
