IONIAN SEA (Aug. 27, 2022) The Nimitz-class aircraft carriers USS George H.W. Bush (CVN 77), left, and USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75) complete a vertical replenishment, Aug. 27, 2022. The George H.W. Bush Carrier Strike Group (CSG) relieved the Harry S. Truman CSG in the Ionian Sea. The GHWBCSG is on a scheduled deployment in the U.S. Naval Forces Europe area of operations, employed by U.S. Sixth Fleet to defend U.S., allied and partner interests.
