Looks like corrupt politician and racist Bennie Thompson will once again win Mississippi District 2. That is sad. This will be his 30th year controlling this district and every inch of his district is literally in shambles and has decade to the point that our cities like like ghettoes. Crime is highest it has ever been. The district runs along the Mississippi Delta from the Memphis state line to just past Natchez and is made up of majority Black population in poverty stricken cities such as Greenville, Greenwood, Drew, Cleveland, Ruleville, Clarksdale, Jackson and others. These cities have went from very wealthy, safe places to raise your family to very poor and unsafe places to raise your family. The once outstanding schools such as Drew Mississippi (the one my wife and I graduated from) have deteriorated into some of the worse schools in the nation. Almost all these areas have closed down most of the schools in the small towns and consolidated them making it necessary to bus children long distances to attend schools rather than walk to school each morning as I did. Bennie Thompson has just been horrible for our district and has devastated Blacks. Yet Blacks keep putting the crook back in Washington. Not enough of us country folks to vote him out...but if we turn out in large numbers, we can try! VOTE Bennie OUT. 29 years is enough.
