Well, it’s the end of summer vacation and like last year it’s a sad yet happy and proud time. Sad to watch Logan Dunn ride out of the driveway after one last meal together and one last cigar before he makes me so damned proud of him…going off to begin his second year of college. I could go on and on and on for hours about how much I love him and how proud I am of him, but I’m sure most of my friends have read my posts through the years about him so I’m not going to rehash it all…though, sometimes…ok, ALL the time, I want to!! When a kid recognizes the love and the sacrifice (and the $$$$$🙄) expended to help him become a man of character, and reacts with unselfish humility, I don’t know about the other parents out there, but it really means all the world to me. Logan, you know I have no shame, so I’ll say it again, I LOVE YOU!! You go on and make the world a better place. (Pilar is sickly so she wasn’t up to going out.)
