I just wanted to share something I found interesting. This is the packaging of the in home COVID test. You see this word that makes you all cozy inside- STERILE right? Should be good to shove up close to your brain. But what is that tricky little EO doing next to STERILE? Oh, that stands for ethylene oxide. Wait what? Remind you that EO is a EXPLOSIVE (Not flammable, just EXPLOSIVE) chemical that is known for causing cancer. Specifically breast cancer and 2 others I can't think of at the moment. No biggie right? What if I told you it is also a DNA altering chemical? No worries there... Good lord!!! There are a handful of other side effects to this chemical and so I ask you, is that really necessary to sanitize a brand new q-tip? I don't think so but at least the test were made in China right? Makes sense!!!
