Yury Ryzhenkov, CEO of the Ukrainian metallurgical company Metinvest, said in an interview with the BBC that about $600 million worth of steel was exported from plants and ports in the occupied territories to Russia. “They are basically just looting. They steal not only our products, but also some of the products already owned by European customers. That is, in fact, they steal not only from us, but also from Europeans,” Ryzhenkov said.
