Swedish M94 Mauser, this one was issued to the 4th Artillary regiment in 1904. The Swedish military mainly issued the M96 and later a shortened version the M38 replaced the M96. The M94 was a low production carbine with only approximately 137,000 being produced. They were so short that a 3/4" permanent extension was put on the barrel so it could be imported into the United States. Unfortunately many of these imports were "bubba'd" by the owners to cut the stock just behind the barrel band to remove the front of the stock and the hand guard. All Swedish military rifles through WWII were chambered in 6.5x55.
