It is difficult to restate the core idea of Texas Constitutional Enforcement more clearly than this. We love the mission of the Tenth Amendment Center! Because the whole idea is that the state elected officials must honor their oaths, exercise independent judgment about constitutional meaning, and act to stop unconstitutional federal acts within the state, the rubber must meet the road locally. One way to think about our mission is that Texas Constitutional Enforcement is the operational arm in Texas of the Tenth Amendment Center. To be clear, we have no formal ties with TAC. I am not sure if they would claim us! But we think VERY highly of the work TAC does, and we see what we do as complementary to it.
