USS John F Kennedy (CV 67) 🇺🇲It was an aircraft carrier, Kitty Hawk class, serving in the US Navy between 1968 and 2007, was pruned "Big John". It was originally designated as an air combat vessel (ACV), however the CV designation has been changed to indicate the vessel was in anti-submarine warfare (ASW) conditions.It was a modified version of the previous carrier class, the Kitty Hawk class.Being sorted as a nuclear como️powered aircraft carrier, using the A3W reactor, but was converted to conventional ⛽propelled after construction started. The island is a little different to the Kitty Hawk-class, with an exit angle to direct smoke and gases out of the cockpit.
