I AM SENDING THIS OUT FOR A GOOD FRIEND OF MINE HERE IN MEXICO Hello, my name is Karen J. David. I am from Tacoma, Washington and have been on the mission field in Mexico since August of 1999. In 2017, serving under FIRE International out of Concord N.C., I founded and am still the director of Treasure House - a safe haven - a place of refuge and restoration for young girls who have been sexually exploited. I am writing this letter because we have found ourselves with quite a problem: At the end of last year we finally found a large home on an acre to purchase for the girls. A wonderful couple agreed to sell us their house in 2 payments and the first of $100,000 was raised and paid in December with the agreement to pay the rest, $140,000, by the end of June. We have an amazing person who promised the rest of the payment and all was set in motion recently, then the Canadian government stopped the transfer of funds. I do not wish to get into a discussion as to why a government would choose to freeze their own peoples investments funds, but the fact is, it has happened. So, we now find ourselves scrambling to find the funds and find them quickly. We implore you to please help!
