When it comes to deciding the limits of the federal government's power, we agree with Jefferson that the framers never intended for the federal judiciary to be the final arbiters of constitutional meaning. We agree with the Tenth Amendment that the power to determine the limits of federal power are left to the states respectively, or to the people of the states.
That is why we think it much more important who is elected to state rep, state senate, governor, attorney general, lieutenant governor, the state judiciary, our sheriffs, our district/county attorneys, our county judges and commissioners courts over a who becomes a U.S. Supreme Court Justice.
If the elected officials of Texas understand their oath and their duty to limit the power of the feds within the bounds of the Constitution, we can correct the usurpations of the U.S. Supreme Court here in Texas.
