A long time ago, a friend told me about EFFECTIVE communications. He summed it up as "until I hear you repeating what I told you, you haven't HEARD me". Kinda like the auditory version of an optical illusion. Once you see it, you can't unsee it. Until you see it, you can't. That's why most readers are more effective than others in making a point. They read the words visually, and say them mentally. Should you be so inclined as to write them down, they're almost impossible to forget. Beginning to catch my drift? Anybody, given ALL the facts, WILL arrive at the proper conclusion. That's why the media eliminates anything other than what they want you to think/say. That's called indoctrination, not education. People don't think for themselves anymore, only what they're told to think. Precisely why I tell everybody to research things for yourself. Get ALL the information, not just their "Cliff's notes" on a topic. Every one of us learns differently, and the challenge lies there. Communicating effectively. Since we're all different, taking the tack of approaching from every degree in a circle doesn't work when you consider we're more like marbles. We're not one or two dimensional, we're all three. In order to properly communicate our point is akin to a gunner, or a pilot. Azimuth, trajectory, elevation all come into play. You know when you've hit the mark, the look on their face is clearly evident. Until then, they haven't heard you even though they've listened. No, they're not ignorant or stupid, they're just different than you. That's the critical difference today. THEY want to force everybody to be the same, WE celebrate the differences that brought us to this party. I don't need to convince you, my job's to get you to see things as I do, and let you make up your own mind. Should you disagree, fine. Help me understand why. Without force or mandates. Now, the onus is on YOU. Until I can see it and understand it from YOUR perspective, I won't. All the games you want to play are ineffective against truth seekers. Celebrating and using our differences made us great. Socialization is destroying that. Just be you.
